In advance of launch / software set up

  1. Find a Superbly champion or team to help drive Superbly and start conversations early. See role of team on next page.
  2. Confirm following with Superbly Team
    • school full name
    • school logo/emblem
    • School calendar (terms and dates)
  3. Share the IT contact personnel details with the Superbly team for setup. Superbly Team to liaise and send example data reports to IT contact.
  4. IT contact to import data into Superbly App Admin portal
  5. Administrator - configure Superbly admin portal
    • Award name - what will you call your Supers / points / merits?
    • Number of Supers awarded (class vs assessments vs extracurricular) . Hold discussions with your Superbly champions/team - how many Supers (or points) do you want to be able to send for each?
    • Administrators - who will be your administrators? Invite them
    • Competencies/attributes - what competencies will you tag?
    • Awards - will you set up awards within Superbly? (to be discussed with team/champions)
    • Confirm Prompt Day with Superbly Team - When is the best day/time for a Superbly prompt email to teachers?

Launching Superbly in your school

IMPORTANT: Executive / leadership - send communications to all parties - see examples: Communicate with teachers, students and parents.

Role of the Superbly Team/Champion

  1. Promote Superbly and usage throughout the school at every opportunity
  2. Poster examples - can be tailored to school / put up around school
  3. Discuss a plan to how Superbly will be used in the school. Consider the number of Supers (or awards) to be given in different scenarios. See example
  4. Consider building and sharing award structures. See example Why not create annual awards which align to Superbly. This is a fantastic way to drive student engagement. Awards can be customised in Superbly. - Example - students achieving top 20% = gold award, 20-40% silver etc
  5. Discuss onboarding plan with students / teachers - how the PD will be delivered to onboard both.
  6. Student recognition at assemblies / year meetings. Use the “Student” data tab in the Superbly teacher app to filter by students. Special call outs to students in the top 10 of that week can be nice. Possible extra recognition in Newsletters / Social media etc.
  7. Celebrate staff usage. Recognise staff utilising the app - staff names can be extracted and entered into a raffle/chocolate draw (every half term). Call outs during Morning Tea etc.
