You can access superbly easier through apps on your mobile screen or in your browser. Here we will show you how to set up:

Setting up a Desktop Superbly app
Using Chrome on mac and PC
With Google Chrome, you can use the "Create shortcut" tool to make a custom desktop app that opens to a specific webpage or install a website's progressive web app (PWA). These can be pinned to your taskbar or Dock for quick access.
Quick Steps for PC and Mac
- Open your school's Superbly URL in Google Chrome. (the URL should look like this https://teacher.schoolname.superbly.cloud/ the name of your school should be between teacher and superbly)
- Click ⋮ in the top-right corner.
- Hover over Save and share.
- Click Create shortcut…
- Click Create.
Retrieve the app on mac
- Open the Launchpad in the dock, find the Superbly app icon
- Drag it into the dock
- click on the app in the dock and it will open in a new browser window for you
Retrieve the app on PC
- Open the shortcut. Double-click the shortcut on your desktop. The webpage should open in Google Chrome. If you checked Open as window, the shortcut will open automatically after creation.
- in your shortcut (optional). You can pin your shortcut to your Start menu or taskbar (Windows).
- On Windows, right-click the shortcut on your desktop, then click Pin to Start.
- To pin to the taskbar, open the shortcut. Right-click the shortcut in the taskbar, then click Pin to taskbar.
Setting up a Smartphone Superbly app
Using Chrome on an Android phone
- On your Android device, open Chrome.
- Go to a website with a PWA that you want to install.
- Tap Install or click on the : button icon (top right).
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Using Chrome on an iPhone
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome.
- Go to a site that you want to add.
- At the top right of the address bar, tap Share
- Find and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm or edit the website details and tap Add.
Tips:
- If PWA is available, the shortcut opens the app.
- If PWA isn't available, the shortcut opens in your default browser.
