This guide will help you extract the data needed to run your school Superbly account.
Edval Extraction
Three types of data needed from Edval (timetabling software). This guide assumes that you are using Edval version 10
Data Set 1: Teacher data
What is this data set? This provides a list of teacher names, email addresses and their allocated classes (class codes).
- Open Edval 10
- Load the latest timetable file
- Click on File
- Click on Export Data
- Click on Teacher Data (download file - excel)
Data Set 2: Class Lists
What is this data set? This provides a list of all classes (class codes) and the associated subjects
- Open Edval 10
- Load the latest timetable file
- Click on Reports
- Click on Class Sizes with in Enrollments
- Download all your group excel files (6 files for 6 year groups)
Data Set 3: Student Data
What is this data set? This data set provides student lists and their timetables classes.
- Open the File menu
- Click on Export Data
- Choose Students
- Choose Student Data
- Select All Rotations and All Years
- Download as an excel file
Data Extract - Sentral (Contact List)
The final data set can be downloaded from Sentral
Data set 4 : Contact List
What is this data set? This data set provides all student contact details (parent names, email addresses).
To gain this data set it requires administrator access in Sentral
- Open Sentral and navigate as follows
- Choose Profiles (student profiles module)
- Select Exports
- Select “Student Details”
- Select “Contact Information”
- Select “All” on other options
- Select Export (green button) to export excel file
