A brilliant way to build engagement is to align end of year awards with Superbly points or Supers earned. In Administrator -> Awards, you can build awards.
Awards can be built as follows
-
Create name of award (example - End of Year Awards)
-
Select either Percentage or Number
You can then filter by the awards in “Students” view to see which students are in line for the awards
Creating an Award
a. Using “Number” for awards. This aligns the number of Supers achieved with the award. HINT: Using numbers the school does not control the number of students achieving awards. For example, many students could achieve the Gold Award.
-
Create ranges for each award name, for example students achieving;
-
0-50 - achieve the “Bronze Award”
-
51-75 - achieve the “Silver Award”
-
76-100 - achieve the “Gold Award”
-
b. Using “Percentage” for awards. This aligns the awards with which percentile the student is in relative to their cohort. HINT: This can be beneficial as it ensures the number of students achieving the awards is fixed. Helpful for awards assemblies where fixed numbers benefit with timing and other logistics.
-
Create ranges for each award name, for example students achieving;
-
0 - 10 - students in the top 10 percentile of their year group/cohort achieve “Gold Award”
-
11-20 - students in the 11th-20th percentile achieve the “Silver Award”
-
21-30 - students in the 21st-30th percentile achieve the “Bronze Award”
-
